Adult Career Services

Greetings Job Seekers!

If you are in search of work, or looking to make a career change, the PIC has the right program to support you in getting the job you want.  Our Adult Career Services Department operates the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program serving adults and dislocated workers as defined by the eligibility criteria under the WIOA federal guidelines.

The services provided under the WIOA program include the following:

  • Job search preparedness workshops
  • On-the-job training reimbursements
  • On-site recruitments
  • Mock interviews
  • One-on-one job coaching
  • Career guidance
  • Job referrals
  • Training assistance
  • Skills assessment
  • Supportive services
  • Job search tools/resources
  • Resume review

Enrolled candidates are assessed appropriately regarding their skill set and experience to determine the most viable training choices for them that will significantly enhance their marketability in the workforce. If training is not necessary, then job search support and one-on-one job coaching is continuously provided based on the client’s need.
