Good afternoon PICsters,

The Winter Job Fair at the Oakland Coliseum is TOMORROW.  Please see attached the parking pass you will need to show when you arrive. Please print it or download it on your phone to show at the gate.

The following are a few details for the day’s festivities, and we have implemented a few changes this year.

ARRIVAL/LOAD-IN:  8:30 to 9:30 am – doors open at 10 am.  If participating in the 9:00 am employer  pre-event informational session with the Alameda County Workforce Development Board, you are encouraged to arrive by 8:30 am.

PARKING:  All exhibitors & volunteers enter via the 66^th Ave main entrance and proceed to parking lot D.  Please be sure to provide everyone on your team, driving separately, with a copy of the attached parking pass.  You may also take a photo and use your smartphone.  

REGISTRATION:  Once you park, follow the signs to enter through the “North Tunnel” to Exhibitor registration & Volunteer sign-in.  

TABLES:  There are two staging areas. One side is designated for Employment, one side is designated for Service Providers.   There are no assigned tables; seating is on first come, first serve basis with the exception of previously submitted special requests.  

MEAL BREAK:  Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Early arrival and staging is highly recommended. Please be sure to get your wrist band as it will serve as your meal ticket.

Wi-Fi:  You will have access to Wi-Fi and the log in information will be provided the day of the event.

CONTINGENT JOB OFFERS:  We will provide a limited number of contingent job offer forms for each employer.  If you are a service provider and identify a candidate, forms are available upon request.  NOTE:  These forms are used to track new hire information and provide data to executive management and event sponsors.  Please ensure that these forms are turned in to any staff member in green t-shirts.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS:  While we will have staff volunteer floor ambassadors (Neon Green Vests) and in-house security, please remember to secure any valuables and/or personal items in a safe location.
