- Oakland Private Industry Council (OPIC) is one of the largest workforce development organizations in the Bay Area and has been a leader in connecting people to jobs and careers for decades. OPIC is recommitting to having an even greater impact on communities by launching its 30KJOBS4OAK Initiative, a partnership campaign to train 30,000 Oaklanders for a variety of job categories in the region.
- Our goals are for this effort to strategically align with the goals of local employers, while engaging the community and galvanizing civic leaders to increase awareness and support for workforce development.
